The Salvation Army of Greater Chattanooga Expecting to Feed More than 1,000 Hungry Neighbors this Week!

The Salvation Army, with the help of dozens of volunteers, will host the 4th Annual Thanksgiving Eve Community Festival on Wednesday, November 27, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm, at 800 McCallie Avenue. The Festival will feature food, games, entertainment and fun.

Seventy-Five Local Families In Need Will Have a Complete Thanksgiving Meal Thanks to The Salvation Army and The McCallie School

The Salvation Army has identified seventy-five needy families and registered them for Thanksgiving Baskets. The McCallie School was made aware of this need and stepped up to assist the hungry and vulnerable. Both The McCallie Middle and Upper Schools collected baskets, turkeys/hens, potatoes, yams, dressing, and cranberry sauce for our local families who might not otherwise have a complete Thanksgiving meal to cook at home.
