The Salvation Army Begins Angel Tree Distribution in the Tennessee Valley Today!

In Chattanooga, distribution will take place Tuesday, December 16 and Wednesday, December 17 at The Salvation Army Warehouse located at 5001 Covington Street. In Cleveland, distribution will be on Thursday, December 18 at The Cleveland Salvation Army Christmas Warehouse located at 2920 Barney's Lane NE. Distribution times for both centers will be 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Salvation Army Thankful For Dynamic Church!

For the third year, the Chattanooga Salvation Army was privileged to partner with Dynamic Church for its extraordinary “Love Gives Wheels” bike drive. This year, 420 bikes were donated by shoppers at the Walmart on Gunbarrel Road over thirty-six straight hours as members of Dynamic Church braved the weather and encouraged them to literally put love on wheels and buy a bike for a local child struggling with a hard life in an often dangerous neighborhood.

Salvation Army Extends Angel Tree Deadline With 43 Angels Still Needing Adoption!

The Salvation Army Angel Tree Program Deadline to adopt an Angel is now December 12. This deadline has been extended since there are still 43 Angels needing to be adopted and hundreds needing to be returned! The Salvation Army Angel Tree provides Christmas assistance for needy children, their families and senior citizens who would not otherwise receive gifts including necessities like food and warm clothing.

Today is Giving Tuesday and The Salvation Army Needs Your Help!

Today is a global day dedicated to giving back called Giving Tuesday. Founded in 2012, this comes after Black Friday and Cyber Monday to remind folks to give back to their communities and celebrate generosity. The Salvation Army of Greater Chattanooga hopes that with 544 Angels still needing to be adopted, neighbors will celebrate Giving Tuesday by adopting Angels from The Salvation Army Angel Trees located in each area mall or give to the Red Kettles throughout the city.
