Salvation Army Begins Angel Tree Registration for the Greater Chattanooga Area!
The Christmas Season is rapidly approaching and many local families are in need of material assistance. Families at or below the poverty line with children 12 years of age or younger and seniors 60 years of age and older are invited to register for our Angel Tree Program. Through the generosity of our donors, the Angel Tree provides much needed clothing, toys and other crucial items to qualified participants.
Registration will take place October 28th – 30th and November 4th – November 7th, and November 12th – 14th for the Greater Chattanooga and Cleveland areas.
Time: 9 am – 6 pm. By appointment only in Cleveland.
Locations: Chattanooga- Salvation Army Christmas Warehouse located at 5001 Covington Street, off of Rossville Blvd. Cleveland- Salvation Army Cleveland Corps located at 437 Inman Street West.
Angel Tree applicants must bring the following to registration:
- Picture ID for all adults
- Birth certificates for each child
- Proof of income for everyone in household
- Food stamps award letter
- Families first award letter
- Proof of address
- Proof of all monthly expenses
Volunteers are invited to join our ranks and assist our staff with the Angel Tree program as well as our other seasonal efforts. The Tennessee Valley will begin to hear the bells and be able to adopt angels from their Angel Trees Saturday, November 9.
