The Salvation Army and The Nehemiah Project Team Up to Deliver Over 4,500 Backpacks to Local Students!
Today, The Salvation Army joined the Nehemiah Project and local churches to deliver more than 4,500 backpacks to Chattanooga public school students in their classrooms.
Without this project, many students would not have the necessary school supplies for the start of the school year. But thanks to the Nehemiah Project’s 13th annual distribution, every student in Hamilton County’s nine Title 1 schools received a backpack filled with much needed school supplies.
