‘Hunt to Can Hunger’ Event Sets New Record by Collecting 1,730 Pounds of Food!

This weekend, thanks to the generous support of the community, Dynamic Church and the YMCA, a new record was set.  Over 1,730 pounds of nonperishable food was collected for The Salvation Army’s food pantry at the ‘Hunt to Can Hunger’ event.  The event also featured pictures with the Easter bunny, bouncy houses, face painting, an indoor climbing wall and playground and an Easter egg hunt with 12,000 eggs.

Week-in-and-week-out, all year long, The Salvation Army distributes food to individuals and families in need.  For more information on hosting a food drive for The Salvation Army, click here.  To see more pictures from the event, click here.
