Salvation Army Angel Tree Registration Begins Next Week!
The Christmas Season is rapidly approaching and many local families are in need of material assistance. To meet this need, The Salvation Army has begun its Christmas outreach programs. Families at or below the poverty line with children 12 years of age or younger and seniors 60 years old and older are invited to register for our Angel Tree program. Through the generosity of our donors, the Angel Tree provides much needed clothing, toys, and other necessities to qualified participants.
Dates: October 23-25, October 29- November 2, and November 5-7
Time: 9 am – 3 pm; Thursdays 12 pm – 7 pm
Locations: Chattanooga– Salvation Army Warehouse 5001 Warehouse (Off of Rossville Blvd.) Cleveland- By appointment only. Please call 423-308-3467 to schedule appointment.
In order to qualify for Angel Tree, applicants must meet income guidelines and not be receiving aid from other Christmas programs. Click here for more information about registration including documentation required for registration.
The success of The Angel Tree registration process is solely due to the time and commitment of our wonderful volunteers. The Salvation Army is in need of 12-15 volunteers per day to register clients for our Angel Tree program. Volunteer positions include serving as a Greeter, Checker and Data Registrar. We are also in need of Spanish speaking volunteers to serve during registration.
